Award-winning actor lends his voice to Scotland’s iconic sound and light spectacular

One of Scotland’s most celebrated sons is set to bring a little extra magic to Perthshire this autumn, as award-winning actor, filmmaker and presenter Alan Cumming joins the cast of The Enchanted Forest’s landmark 25th anniversary show.

The Perthshire-born star has recorded a series of exclusive voice performances for Stop The Clock: The 25th Hour, this year’s original production which invites audiences to escape the rush of everyday life and lose themselves in a magical extra hour where time itself has slipped off course.

His voice will guide visitors through key moments of the immersive soundtrack, adding another layer of storytelling to the award-winning sound and light experience in Faskally Wood.

The announcement comes during an exciting new chapter for Cumming, following his return to Perthshire as artistic director of Pitlochry Festival Theatre, reinforcing his commitment to the area’s thriving cultural scene. 

As a registered charity, every ticket sold also helps support The Enchanted Forest Community Trust, which has distributed more than £650k to charities and community groups across Highland Perthshire while generating millions of pounds for the local economy.

The Enchanted Forest runs from 8 October to 8 November in Faskally Wood, Pitlochry. Tickets are on sale now at enchantedforest.org.uk
