Edinburgh’s West End will soon see continental chic arrive in the form of Encore – a brand-new cocktail bar and lounge, featuring Parisian-inspired cuisine and spectacular entertainment.
Opening on 1st December and located beneath Hope Street’s West End Brasserie, the new late night speakeasy will offer a relaxed and lively atmosphere with live music and sophisticated performance nights, as well as a cocktail menu paying homage to Paris’ spectacular Bohemian style.
Encore’s vivid, playful drinks have a lineage that rests in more classic cocktails, mixing historical with a modern score, while the menu will encompass reinvented Scottish and French classics – from beef carpaccio to French onion soup dumplings and charcuterie to share. The bar is the latest venture from hospitality group Caledonian Heritable, whose property portfolio includes Edinburgh landmark The Dome, luxury golf and spa resort Archerfield House, and Why Not Nightclub.
The flamboyant interiors will take inspiration from Paris’ Pigalle and République districts, with dazzling lighting installations, chic red velvet sofas and rich textile upholstery.
