Ad Astra by Elite
Sweden’s Elite Hotels group has a new addition – Ad Astra by Elite. A destination hotel offering an all-in-one experience with Italian Riviera vibes, the new venue is located in scenic Snäckviken, just south of Stockholm. Entertainment facilities include champagne karaoke, shuffleboard, billiards, a cinema, three pools, plus an Italian piazza with French pétanque courts.
Tivoli Hotels’ 90th anniversary
Tivoli Hotels & Resorts are celebrating 90 years of history with the launch of two glamorous experiences – the ‘Timeless Tour by Tivoli’ – a journey between four resorts in Portugal in a vintage car and ‘Room 90’ – stays in a unique hotel room with additional experiences depending on the location. The Room 90 in Tivoli Palácio de Seteais includes a two-night stay in the Royal Suite, specially decorated with silver pieces from the 200-hundred-year-old Portuguese brand, Leitão & Irmão, together with the Queens’ Tea and a picnic in the gardens. In Tivoli Doelen, the Room 90 includes a two-night stay in the Rembrandt Suite, where an exact replica of the artist’s painting ‘The Night Watch’ hangs. The stay also includes a boat tour on Amsterdam’s canals, a private Rembrandt guided tour through the hotel neighbourhood and two entrance tickets to the Rembrandt Museum.
Foodie trips at a Greek mountain resort
Aristi Mountain Resort & Villas in Northern Greece have launched a new gourmet package, giving guests the chance to experience the traditional culinary scene of Zagori through a ‘four day flavours’ package. Guests can enjoy five different restaurants, including a visit to a nearby winery for authentic Greek wine tasting, plus they’ll get the opportunity to learn how to cook – and taste – local delicacies such as Zagorian feta pies, traditional meat dishes served with goat or lamb or locally sourced mushroom-inspired dishes.
Kokoro Club and retreat
Kokoro – meaning “heart” in Japanese – is a new wellness club and retreat, committed to nurturing the mind, body and soul. The brainchild of three female experts from the wellness industry – Holly Fivian, Bex Edwards and Jemma Adair – members can sign up to tailored workshops and embark on luxury retreats, with one-to-one access to mentors who will help define their goals. Events will be held all over the country, as well as online seminars and programmes that help members stay connected. The first Kokoro Experience takes place on the 17th – 20th October in Cornwall.
