This new five-star hideaway in Lake Garda looks out of this world
With a setting like this, who could fail to feel serene afterwards? Opening its doors to guests on 8th July, Lake Garda’s latest luxury spa retreat is all about soaking up stunning lake and mountain views and enjoying a blissful experience.
The adult-only spa – named Cape of Senses – is located 240 metres above Lake Garda, with an enviably tranquil setting. The 55–room, family-owned property – comprised of six suite options – was designed by architects and interior designers, Hugo Demetz and Alessia Demetz. Design flourishes include floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering stunning Mediterranean views, complemented by soft colour palettes, warm lighting and contemporary furnishings.
Keen to jump straight in? There are numerous locations around the hotel to unwind, from rooftop terraces and gazebos for watching the sunset and sleeping under the stars, to an outdoor, private heated infinity pool and jacuzzi with full 180-degree views overlooking the lake.
The 2,000sqm Senses Spa will offer a holistic spa concept with an extensive range of facilities including pools, a sauna, a fitness area, treatment rooms and relaxation rooms. A variety of treatments will use natural, sustainably-sourced products that are designed to engage the senses while encouraging long-lasting wellbeing. In-between treatments, guests will also be able to enjoy the spa library or take a stroll in the spa garden, which includes a yoga platform.
Dining-wise, there’s a choice of two restaurants, where guests can enjoy fine dining and locally sourced Mediterranean cuisine at either the lake-view Al Tramonto or traditional Osteria La Pergola restaurants. Post-dining, you’ll also be able to take a leisurely walk around the hotel’s gardens, taking in the aromatic scents of Italian lemons and olive trees. We feel relaxed just reading about it.
