Get a taste of London Fashion Week and keep it aesthetically pleasing to boot with Biltmore Mayfair & Malone Souliers’ special afternoon tea
The capital’s Strand and the grand Somerset House will see a hubbub of clacking heels and camera clicks this Friday 17th February, as London Fashion Week gets into full swing showcasing ready-to-wear collections for AW23.
But it’s not all about the runways – you can also immerse your senses in a world of style through this stylishly curated and limited-edition afternoon tea.
A collaboration between The Biltmore Mayfair and London-based footwear label, Malone Souliers, the sumptuous afternoon tea will be available until the end of February, and is a veritable treat for shoe lovers. Guests can expect to dine on a selection of colourfully sweet creations reflecting Malone Souliers’ expertly crafted footwear, served alongside traditional sandwiches and scones.
Hosted in the hotel’s tea lounge, highlights include a Severn and Wye gravlax smoked salmon sandwich, with yuzu kosho and dill crème fraiche; the ‘Maureen’, a modern take on a strawberry, raspberry and rose compote and crumble in a caramel chocolate high heel and the ‘Yasmin’, a tangy passionfruit, mango and pineapple creation with coconut and white chocolate mousse, in a stiletto-shaped vanilla sable.
During February, guests of the afternoon tea can also shop Malone Souliers’ collections direct from the lounge of The Biltmore, with team members on hand to deliver shoes and accessories from the shoe brand’s flagship Mount Street boutique.
The Malone Souliers Afternoon Tea is available until Tuesday 28th February, served between 12.30 – 5pm. The tea is priced at £80 per person, and £95 including a glass of champagne
