Orient Express are launching into the cruising world

Set your travel watches for 2026, when you can board the world’s largest yacht for unparalleled luxury

It’s synonymous with being the pinnacle of luxury by train – and now 140 years after their launch into the world of luxury, Orient Express are gliding into the ocean with the unveiling of the world’s largest sailing yacht, Orient ExpressSilenseas.

Setting sail in spring 2026, guests on the opulent ship can expect spectacular interiors inspired by the golden age of the French Riviera, along with 54 suites, two swimming pools, two restaurants and a speakeasy bar. Entertainment will be presented in the form of carefully curated shows at an Amphitheatre-Cabaret. Part of French hospitality group Accor, the Orient Express cruise ship will have room for up to 120 passengers. Says Sébastien Bazin, chairman and CEO of Accor: “It is a boat designed to make dreams a reality, a showcase for the best of French savoir-faire.” 

Orient Express will also soon opens its first hotels around the world – Orient Express La Minerva in Rome and Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli in Venice in 2024.
