The Chippie!
It was founder Nico Simeone’s original theme, launched at his flagship Glasgow restaurant as a nod to the chef’s childhood memories of his family’s fish and chip shop – and reimagined in fine dining style.
Now the menu that got people hooked on the Six by Nico dining concept is making a festive comeback, after it won out in a customer vote to choose the year’s final theme.
First on the menu at the Hanover Street location in 2018, the six-course Chippie tasting experience has been refined with ‘contemporary twists’, featuring the restaurant’s popular version of chips and cheese (comprised of parmesan espuma, curry oil & emulsion and crisp potato terrine) and innovative takes on the classic scampi, steak pie, all-important fish supper, smoked sausage and deep-fried Mars Bar. There will also be veggie and vegan options available for each course.
