Edinburgh’s first boutique, five-screen cinema is on the way

St James Quarter just keeps knocking it out the park with reasons to visit

It seems like every month in Edinburgh brings a slew of new, stylish openings, and not least what’s set to be Everyman’s latest opening.

St James Quarter has hit the jackpot with this gorgeous, luxury cinema, which will be located on level 5 of the shopping destination. The style is plush sixties retro meets monochrome, with a quirky-chic bar and five state-of-the-art screens.

Opening in spring this year, the venue will screen a mix of blockbusters, indie and classic films, as well as hosting special events and live entertainment. It will open in time for the much-anticipated release of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and Downton Abbey: A New Era.

The cinema’s food & drink offering includes premium Aberdeen Angus burgers on brioche buns, vegan dishes such as pizza topped with chargrilled artichoke, sundried tomato and plant-based mozzarella, freshly baked cookie dough and a speciality range of wine, beer, cocktails and alcohol-free drinks.

Everyman offers various membership options. By becoming an Everyman member, you receive 7 tickets for the year or purchasing an Everyicon membership will provide you with 24 tickets.
