Through the Looking Glass

The beauty launches you should be getting your smooth and silky paws on for 2022

Glow Recipe

The K-beauty-inspired Glow Recipe are all about fruit-powered benefits which attune to your skin’s demands. Their latest contender is a weightless, whipped gel cream that marks a first for the brand with its refillable glass jar. In a balancing act for the skin, the creamy-soft moisturiser combines hyaluronic acids, polyglutamic acid and antioxidants, leaving any skin type wonderfully hydrated.

Moo & Yoo

The arrival of Harrods Beauty at St James Quarter has got everyone north of the border rosy-cheeked with beauty glee. The new beauty emporium has some gorgeous brands, but we’re particularly excited about Moo & Yoo, creators of luxe, vegan hair products. Their all-natural ingredients – including Marula oil and Icelandic moss – offer protection and nourishment for the hair, leaving it soft and shiny.

Dior Beauty

Another arrival we’re coveting is the launch of Dior Beauty at Harvey Nichols, Edinburgh. A heritage brand treat of skincare, makeup and fragrance, keep your eyes out for Dior Backstage, which promises samplers a “professional result” and the ‘Atelier of Dreams’ makeup collection, which pays tribute to Maison Dior – the Parisian HQ where it all began.

Fiils

With the strapline ‘Give your mitts the time of their life’, how could we refuse? The UK refillables brand has launched two new fragrant hand and body lotions – lemongrass and coconut. The no-mess pouches can be easily decanted into the brand’s aluminium refillable bottles, plus Fiils will recycle your empties for free.

Each fragrance has a different persona, with our personal highlights including Feuilles de Tabac, an intoxicating blend of honeyed tobacco, spices and tonka bean; Peau Santal, with its heady hit of frankincense, pink pepper and sandalwood; and Secret Gardenia for the floral lovers – a veritable bouquet of gardenia, jasmine, ylang-ylang and violet petals.
