Christmas

One of our favourite festive pop-up bars is back

Is that the joyous sound of corks popping at one of Glasgow’s most stylish venues? Yes, you heard correctly – Moët & Chandon’s Christmas pop-up has returned, taking central stage in the West End at Kimpton Blythswood Square.

The festivities commence on Sunday 5th December, with a glittering Moët & Chandon Christmas Brunch. The five-star hotel will host the brunch in their recently opened iasg restaurant, with the £55 ticket including a glass of Moët & Chandon Impérial and a Moët surprise gift Christmas bauble at every place setting. The pop-up will remain at the hotel in effervescent style until Hogmanay, with three fabulous new Moët & Chandon cocktails on offer: Winter Glow, Fireplace Royale and Golden Light, created specially for Blythswood Square Hotel at £12 each.

The renowned City of Glasgow Chorus will mark the launch of the brunch with a performance on the afternoon of Sunday 5th December. The recital will include a mixture of carols, from old favourites ‘Away in a Manger’ and ‘Jingle Bells’, to modern classics such as John Rutters’ ‘Nativity Carol’ –  and of course, ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas.’

A prize of a luxury gift bag containing Moët treats will be awarded on the day to the guest with the most stylish, gilt-edged glamour. A make-up artist will also offer sparkle touch-ups to guests across the afternoon.
