This iconic wardrobe piece is a winter must-have

Jaeger has brought back its famous Camel Hair Coat – who’s first in line?

It was a style piece synonymous with the Jaeger brand, harking back to their first camel coat creation in 1908, and defining the shade and silhouette as an outwear essential.

Now, the British heritage brand – beloved by stars including Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, and more recently, Renee Zellweger and the Duchess of Cambridge – has reached into its archives and given its iconic creation a cosy style pedestal once more, with the reinvention of the Camel Hair Coat.

The Camel Hair Coat’s soft fabric drapes and moulds flatteringly round the body, with raglan sleeve detail to provide a soft, relaxed shape to the coat which can also be worn either belted or loose. The style is finished with smart button fastenings, matching belt tie and a jacquard Jaeger lining.

You’ll need to be speedy though – the timeless piece will only be released in a limited run of 100, and will be stocked exclusively at Mark & Spencer’s flagship stores in Marble Arch, London, Dublin and in Edinburgh, which will have a full Jaeger “store within a store” with a separate Jaeger entrance from December. Marks & Spencer bought the British label earlier this year, adding it to its roster of complementary third party brands.

The iconic Camel Hair Coat is priced at £499 and launches on 1st December. Go to www.jaeger.co.uk
