The internationally-renowned Knockando Woolmill, located in the heart of the Spey Valley for over two centuries, specialises in exquisite collections of blankets, scarves, cushions, throws and elegant, timeless tweed accessories.
Among the last mills of its kind, Knockando dates back to 1784 when its first weavers fed fine yarn spun from local fleeces through handlooms.
Today, the mill has a modern vision with craftsmanship at its core. Its highly coveted accessories and interiors collections are one-of-a-kind pieces, slowly crafted on rare vintage and modern looms with meticulous attention to detail using only the finest natural quality yarns. Exclusive, traceable – right down to individual flocks of sheep – and sustainable, each inch of cloth is entwined with centuries of skill, craftsmanship and Highland heritage.
We’ve teamed up with the Mill to give five readers the chance to win a beautiful woven scarf and luxury throw.
This is your chance to make a luxurious style statement in your home with a beautiful, classic fringed throw in a cool grey. This 100% Pure New Wool throw will add style and comfort to your home. It’s wonderfully warm, so provides a perfect extra layer for cold nights, and will look gorgeous draped over your bed or sofa.
The Mosaic Pink & Scarlet scarf is woven from super soft Geelong lambswool and comes from Knockando’s popular geometric collection, with an eye-catching pattern that will see you through the winter months and beyond.
To enter the competition, email ‘Knockando’ to competitions@scottishwomanmagazine.com by 31st December.
