Coffee sensation Blank Street has expanded into the West Coast, following its Edinburgh opening earlier in the year

Its brand ethos is built around speciality grade coffee in beautiful, modern spaces. Now Blank Street – the coffee sensation with 42 locations across London, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh – is launching its second Scottish city opening in Glasgow.

The new store, located in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre on Gordon Street, will officially open its doors on Saturday 26th April at 8am, bringing Blank Street’s signature style and drinks to Scotland’s biggest city – including their famous matcha offerings.

Arriving amidst the buzz of Blank Street’s newly launched spring menu, the opening will see the new Strawberry Shortcake Matcha and Rhubarb and Custard spread its popularity to the west of Scotland. Alongside these new seasonal flavours, customers can also get their hands on Blank Street’s viral classics such as the White Chocolate Matcha and Blueberry Matcha, as well as a speciality cold brew, or the classic flat white.

Blank Street partners with local suppliers to offer a menu that is both delicious and high quality. They exclusively serve specialty grade Arabica coffee from Origin Coffee Roasters in Cornwall, along with their bespoke Blank Blend. Speciality is a term used for the highest grade of coffee, and awarded when coffee scores at least 80 out of 100 in quality – their coffee is rated 84. Only 3% of the world’s coffee is rated as speciality grade.
