Destination retail store House of Bruar has announced a pop-up afternoon tea event, appearing in the venue’s covered atrium just in time for Mother’s Day

Available only on Saturday 14^th and Sunday 15^th March, the experience is the brainchild of Andrew Elcock, recently appointed Bruar’s head of food following a long career with luxury Scottish retailer, Johnston’s of Elgin. 

Aiming to showcase Scotland’s remarkable natural larder, offerings will include heather honey macarons, Perthshire strawberry and elderflower mousse, cranachan choux buns and sandwiches, including Bruar’s signature smoked salmon, along with freshly baked scones, Bruar preserves and cream. A glass of chilled House of Bruar champagne is available as an add-on. 

Normal food service will run uninterrupted for visitors who prefer Bruar’s more typical offering of seafood, salads, pies and roasts. The venue’s Lobster Fish & Chip Shop and Scottish Ice Cream Parlour will also be open following their winter closure.
