The Fife Arms has unveiled its 2024 Festival of Fashion Programme with special guests including Dame Anya Hindmarch and Lisa Armstrong OBE

A Victorian coaching inn in the magnificent Cairngorms National Park will be the epicentre of fashion this weekend in Scotland, with some of the most prominent voices in the fashion world arriving for a number of special events.

The Fife Arms, a boutique 46-bedroom hotel in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, will host its second annual Festival of Fashion this weekend. Taking place from Friday 15th – Sunday 17th November, the weekend will celebrate the intersection of fashion, culture and creativity with a series of engaging talks and workshops.

Special guests and speakers attending the three-day festival include Dame Anya Hindmarch in conversation with Lisa Armstrong OBE, Scottish designer Samantha McCoach (Le Kilt) and Han Chong (Creative Director of Self-Portrait). A trio of Dior’s creative collaborators will also explore Dior’s long association with Scotland and the depth of our country and culture’s fashion significance with Justine Picardie (author and former Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar) and renowned Scottish designer Christopher Kane will be in Conversation with Susie Lau about the upcoming self-portrait Residency programme in which Kane is the inaugural resident.

The Fife Arms X Jane Carr “Nae Bother” collection

Inspired by the spirit of The Fife Arms and the magical Cairngorms as well as the creative energy of Iwan and Manuela Wirth, fashion designer Jane Carr has created “Nae Bother”, a capsule collection of beautifully crafted Scottish cashmere unisex sweaters which will launch at Festival of Fashion. Made in collaboration with Sinclair Duncan Textiles, a family owned artisan producer in Scotland, Carr designed the edition of four sweaters to express a youthfulness and curiosity to learn from others as well as embody the bohemian spirit, freedom and spontaneity of The Fife Arms.

Throughout the Festival of Fashion, you can also enjoy Dame Anya Hindmarch’s playful take on the tradition of Afternoon Tea, which for the first time will be available outside the iconic Anya Café in Chelsea, London and served within The Clunie Dining Room at The Fife Arms. The Anya Café is inspired by the British Cafe of old but reimagined with the finest ingredients, and of course some of their trademark humour. Bookings for the Anya Café Afternoon Tea are essential.
